The name of my magazine is Haydon star because it is a catchy name and incorporates the school name. Also it more modern and it is short and simple so it gets to the point so it is attracts the target audience of teenagers. I used a bold fun font also put a picture of the star and not the word star to make it look different, also to make it seem like an interesting magazine that people would read instead of a boring magazine.

 

The background of my magazine is a picture of part of the school to show that magazine is not only about the pupils and staff but the building itself. Underneath the title there is a short sub-title just to introduce you to the magazine and it is just in a simple but clear colour of white.

 

Then it carries on the white font along the side with what the magazine will include so you know what the magazine is about and what is happening in it. At the bottom of the magazine it says ‘READ EXCLUSIVLEY… head boy and girl interviews!’ this is in caps and in black not white to capture the reader’s attention because it is big and exciting news.
